1st album from 1988 by this underrated American Technical Thrash Metal band, combining speed, complexity, and melody with stunning instrumental performance. A true cult classic for fans of TOXIK, WATCHTOWER, FORCED ENTRY, FORBIDDEN, and the sharpest, most technical side of late ’80s Thrash Metal.
2nd album from 1990 by the American SACRED REICH, an essential Bay Area Thrash Metal release packed with heavy riffs, political attitude and a direct, streetwise approach to the genre. “The American Way” combines speed, groove and social criticism with a clear and powerful production, cementing the band as one of the most intelligent voices in late 80s and early 90s Thrash Metal. Featuring standout tracks such as the title song and “Crimes Against Humanity,” the album balances aggression and message with great effectiveness while preserving the classic spirit of American Thrash Metal. Recommended for fans of SLAYER, TESTAMENT, OVERKILL and ANTHRAX.
Debut album from 2011 by the American SACRIFICIAL BLOOD, a blast of dirty and direct Thrash/Death Metal with a strong dose of classic aggression, sharp riffs and a raw, uncompromising attitude. “Unholy Fucking Hatred” combines the speed of primitive Thrash with the density of early Death Metal, maintaining a rough and completely underground sound.
The album moves without pause, with compositions focused on constant aggression, straightforward structures and a clear connection to old-school American extreme Metal, where rawness takes priority over technique.
Recommended for fans of SLAYER, KREATOR, EXODUS and POSSESSED.
7th album from 1996 by the American SLAYER, one of the most influential bands in the history of Thrash Metal. “Undisputed Attitude” is a very special release within the band's catalogue, paying tribute to its wildest and most streetwise roots through 15 cover versions of Hardcore Punk classics by legendary bands such as MINOR THREAT, VERBAL ABUSE, T.S.O.L., G.B.H., D.R.I. and many others.
Rather than simply recreating the original material, SLAYER injects these songs with its own unmistakable personality, delivering them with even greater aggression and intensity. The result is a raw, violent and attitude-filled assault that highlights some of the band's most direct and furious influences while showcasing the strong connection between Hardcore Punk and extreme Thrash Metal.
Recommended for fans of D.R.I., DISCHARGE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and VERBAL ABUSE.
9th album from 2013 by the Brazilian-American SOULFLY, an intense blast of Groove Metal with elements of Thrash and Death Metal that combines heavy riffs, tribal grooves and a much more direct aggression than in previous releases. “Savages” finds the band in a more forceful and modern phase, with powerful production and a darker, more extreme approach within their signature style.
The album alternates crushing mid-tempos with faster, more aggressive sections, featuring guest vocal appearances and a dynamic that reinforces its violent and raw character. It preserves SOULFLY’s tribal DNA while pushing it into heavier, more extreme Metal territory.
Recommended for fans of SEPULTURA, CHIMAIRA, LAMB OF GOD and DEVILDRIVER.
Official 2022 edition of archival material by the American TYNATOR, a compilation of demos recorded between 1987 and 1992 showcasing the band in its rawest and most primitive era. “Shrieking Sounds of Deafening Terror” gathers classic Thrash Metal recordings with strong influences from the Bay Area scene and early European Thrash, featuring fast riffs, rough production and a direct, no-frills attitude.
The material clearly reflects the late 80s underground spirit, with an approach close to the most aggressive and dirty side of Thrash, capturing the energy of a band influenced by the genre’s first wave.
Recommended for fans of SLAYER, XENTRIX, ONSLAUGHT and I.N.C.
Official 2017 archival release by the American TYRANT’S REIGN, a compilation of demos and unreleased recordings made between 1987 and 1989 documenting the band’s earliest stage within the underground Thrash Metal scene. “Fragments of Time” gathers raw and direct material from various studio sessions and rehearsals, showcasing a classic, fast sound deeply rooted in old-school Thrash Metal.
The material reflects the energy of the late 80s underground, with an aggressive, no-frills approach where fast riffs, straightforward structures and an abrasive yet era-accurate production dominate.

Only album from 1989 by Swiss outfit CALHOUN CONQUER, one of the strangest, most original and difficult-to-classify bands to emerge from the late-1980s European underground. “Lost in Oneself” takes Technical and Progressive Thrash Metal as its foundation but expands it into experimental, psychedelic and avant-garde territory, resulting in a release that was clearly ahead of its time.
Far removed from the usual Thrash Metal formulas of the era, the album combines angular riffs, unconventional song structures, unsettling atmospheres and a strong experimental spirit. Its innovative character has often been compared to the visionary approach of VOIVOD, while some of its compositional ideas seem to anticipate paths later explored by bands such as CORONER, ATHEIST and CYNIC. At the same time, its determination to break stylistic boundaries within extreme Metal echoes the artistic philosophy of CELTIC FROST. A true hidden gem of Progressive Thrash Metal that remains remarkably fresh and unique decades after its release. Interestingly, Spanish band ABSORBED later paid tribute to CALHOUN CONQUER by recording a cover version of one of its songs on the album “Reverie”.
Recommended for fans of CORONER, VOIVOD, JESTER BEAST and CELTIC FROST.

With a raw production, razor-sharp riffs and overflowing energy, the album perfectly captures the wild spirit of the mid-1980s Metal underground. This reissue includes 3 bonus tracks, making it an excellent opportunity to rediscover a cult classic that remains an essential reference for fans of fast, aggressive and authentic Thrash Metal.
