CORROSIVE CARCASS started in its earliest form in 2004, by members Markus Janis, Peter Koistinaho and Mikael Lindorf. With the band was also drummer Fredrik Lindorf, who later decided to part ways, in which Markus Janis gave the guitar up and became new drummer. Later on came vocalist Jonathan Sjöblom, and finally the band in its current lineup was formed in 2009 with the recruitment of guitarist Christian Kanto. With This line up, their debut demo “Rot.In.Pieces” was released in 2010 which led them to a deal with US label Abyss Records.
In the year 2012 the band released its debut album “Composition of Flesh” which was a raw and fast release. Ever since they have had a steady increase in success and were more than ever inspired to keep writing songs, playing shows and releasing new material. A second demo entitled “Demo 07” was released in 2013 and later on, in early 2015 the band decided to records their 2nd album which got them signed to Xtreem Music. This album, entitled “Forsaken Lands” and release in November 2015, is a more thought out composition of great songs that offers a more varied sound, marking a big step ahead from their debut.
