Because of their lust for rancid and rotten death metal, three maniacs from Wolfsburg (Germany) started the band CRYPTIC BROOD at the beginning of the year 2013. The “Morbid Rite” Demo-Cassette as first physical sign of life was released in October of that year. After being out of stock in a very short time, a second edition was unleashed from the sewers of Coffin Filth Records in December 2013. Further re-releases followed by Chaos And Hell Productions (Greece) and Morbid Bastard Records (Indonesia).
With this extraction of doomed out Death Metal and their morbid live rituals, the band received a positive reputation in the filthy realm of the death metal underground. A split-CD/LP with GRAVEYARD GHOUL via Final Gate Records followed the demo on year 2014’s dark days of horrific Halloween.
In 2015, the band got signed to Spanish label Xtreem Music for the release of the band’s new EP “Wormed” which was recorded during summer of the same year for a September release. CRYPTIC BROOD is currently working on new songs for their debut full length album.
