DEATH VOMIT was formed in 2011 in Curico Azazzel (Francisco Correa) on guitar/vocals and Evil Ezcorzized (Rodrigo Villagran) on drums. At first it was just a project, but with the passing of time it got concreted as something definite. Influenced by most ruthless beasts of european & american Death Metal (Megaslaughter, Cancer, Morgoth, Judecca, Bolt Thrower, Merciless, Purtenance, Carnage, Obscurity, Morbid Angel, Pestilence, Incubus… among others)
The first demo came out in 2012 entitled "Infestation", in which voices were performed by "Count Czar Yang" (Ammit); at that time, Tom Evil Hill (Ammit, Teofobia) joined on bass and participated in the demo recording, but after some time, he left the band, leaving place for a great guitarist called Vesalius (vocals/guitars in Uttertomb and guitars in Communion), who became an integral part of the band, leading to the recording of new songs for a split CD with Uttertomb, entitled "Coagulation of Pest", initially released on cassette and later on released on CD by Veins Full of Wrath Prods. Songs on this split are considered the "Demo #2" OF DEATH VOMIT.
After intensive work, during the same year the band is signed to the Spanish label Xtreem Music, which offered the band to release the first full length album both on CD and 12”LP formats. This is means a great challenge for the band and gave them new strength to create new songs in a more horrifying and rotting way. The composition of these songs took all 2013 and recordings took the first half of 2014, resulting on the album “Gutted by Horrors”, out in July of the same year and featuring 12 cuts of insane Death Metal where DEATH VOMIT aims to mangle everything on its path!! Total devotion to the Echoes of Death!!! Total Infestation!!!
