¿Tuviste un mal día en el trabajo? ¿Tuviste una discusión con alguien? ¿O simplemente te sentís ahogado en la red de la burocracia? No te preocupes, prendé tu reproductor de CD, llevá el volumen al máximo, y poné el último disco (homónimo) de ANDRALLS.
El álbum de la thrashera banda Brasileña es una sucesión de temas explosivos, caracterizados por una velocidad y violencia incesantes. Esto se aprecia desde el primer tema “Two sides”, un thrash inspirado en lo mas viejo de SEPULTURA, que comienza sin ningún tipo de ambientación, ni introducción, martillando con un riff que da paso a una voz podrida y rítmica.
La obra continúa con “Crosses Shall Burn”, sin dar respiro y en exactamente la misma intensidad que se siente desde el primer tema, siguiendo luego “Eyes of The Killer” (en mi opinión el mejor de la placa), una canción que bien podrìa haber formado parte del “Beneath The Remains”. “Dynamite” y “You Mean Shit” se destacan por letras con un estribillo repetitivo y autoproclamante (“Fuck you, You mean shit” coreado hasta quedar grabado en lo profundo del cerebro).
En cuanto al sonido en general, no es el punto más fuerte del disco. Las guitarras son agresivas pero saturadas (por momentos cansando el oído), la batería suena artificial, casi electrónica, y el bajo no tiene presencia (aunque esto es común en el estilo).
Instrumentalmente, Cléber Orsioli (Guitarra y voz) demuestra pericia en lo suyo, con una ejecución precisa y una voz con buena presencia. Se destaca la técnica de sus solos, aunque a veces se repite en yeites estandarizados en distintos temas. Batería y bajo demuestran un conocimiento acabado del estilo, ya que entregan todo lo que se espera en un álbum thrashero: Doble bombo penetrante, rapidez y exactitud y líneas de bajo sucias y sólidas, que acompañan los riffs de guitarra.
Como un todo, el disco no acaba por deslumbrar. Tiene violencia, está bien ejecutado, pero peca de repetitivo por momentos, y luego de la escucha uno no se queda con un tema “dando vueltas en la cabeza”, eso que hace a ciertos álbums únicos, dejando esas ganas de volver a escucharlos una y otra vez. Es una obra aceptable, pero para trascender las fronteras del under, está banda deberá madurar mas y cerrar su propio estilo dentro del thrash, para lo que no parece faltarle condiciones.
