Spanish extreme metallers AVULSED will enter the studio in late January/early February to record a mini-CD, "Reanimations", featuring two brand new tracks ("River Runs Red" and "Foetal Consolation"), a remake of one song from their 1992 debut demo ("Unconscious Pleasure") and three cover songs: W.A.S.P.'s "I Wanna Be Somebody", GOREFEST's "Mental Misery" and EXODUS' "Piranha". As a bonus, there will be eight AVULSED tracks performed and recorded by other bands: five Spanish acts — TERRORISTARS, KAOTHIC, WITCHES' SABBATH, BYLETH and ABYFSS — plus three bands from abroad: IN ELEMENT (Argentina), CARNAVAGE (Algeria) and TWISTED FATE (Australia). The CD will be released by Electric Chair Music in Spain and Xtreem Music in the rest of the world.

With only one demo out, simply titled “Blood” and recorded during the first months of 2005, this band lead by German Götz Vogelsang has an overwhelming impact on the Underground. This awesome demo features three songs in the vein of mighty ancient masters like UNLEASHED, BOLT THROWER, ASPHYX, AUTOPSY... and being able to transmit such sound and feeling is one of the most difficult things to achieve nowadays.
This demo has already been rated 10/10 in Germany’s biggest extreme Metal magazine LEGACY and is also going to have a very special feature in US's METAL MANIACS. The demo has been released the old way, this is on pro-done cassette accompanied by a 3"Mini-CD with the same songs on mp3 format, but it has also recently been released on CD-R format for the less old school minded ones that prefer the digital facilities.

UNREAL OVERFLOWS have just finished the recording of their debut album "Architecture of Incomprehension". This work has been recorded by Christian "Moschus" Moos at the SpaceLab Studios in Germany and will be released at the begining of the upcoming year by Xtreem Music.
Victor gallego, drummer of the colombian act MASACRE has died last Sunday, October 30th. We are very sad about this news and take the oportunity to send all our condolences and power to Victors relatives and also to the rest of the guys at the MASACRE camp.
The following message was posted on the webpage of the Eternal Night Fanzine: "When MASACRE released the EP "Barbarie y Sangre en Memoria de Cristo" back in 1993, the first thing that rule was the incredible drums on it. It was a blond guy called Victor Gallego playing them. Years later, Victor was still a part of this awesome band. With his serious look, his hairs getting longer with the time and his technique improving with every release. "It took way longer than expected for the mixing process of "Gorespattered Suicide" album, but it's finally done!! Initially it was supposed to be done during the 2nd week of September, but no less than 5 hurricanes passed through Florida where Erik Rutan was mixing and mastering the album at his own studios. After this, he was ill for some days... but it was well worth the wait!! The master is in our hands and we must say it sounds great!! We're really satisfied of the mixing and we can state that this might be our best album to date!!
"Gorespattered Suicide" has all the usual ingredients in AVULSED's style, but it's by far the most brutal, aggressive and intense effort, to which our new drummer Riky has contributed enormously!! You can download a new song by entering our NEWS section.

Sure there's influences in their music from bands like ARCH ENEMY, CHILDREN OF BODOM, IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DEATH... but they're blended and incorporated to their music in a masterly way with an excellent vocal performance and killer guitar solos.
