Colombian true living Death Metal legends MASACRE have inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the European version of their latest album "Brutal Aggre666ion", the 5th in their long career for this band formed back in 1988 that has built a truly incorruptible cult status as one of the most mythic south american bands ever!!
First released only for the colombian territory through the band's own label Mórbida Prod. in October 2014, "Brutal Aggre666ion" is another solid step in the band's discography, showing a truly brutal form of Death Metal in their traditional style, empowered, once again, by the production skills of HATE ETERNAL/ ex-MORBID ANGEL's Erik Rutan at his own Mana Studios in Tampa, Florida.

Victor gallego, drummer of the colombian act MASACRE has died last Sunday, October 30th. We are very sad about this news and take the oportunity to send all our condolences and power to Victors relatives and also to the rest of the guys at the MASACRE camp.
The following message was posted on the webpage of the Eternal Night Fanzine: "When MASACRE released the EP "Barbarie y Sangre en Memoria de Cristo" back in 1993, the first thing that rule was the incredible drums on it. It was a blond guy called Victor Gallego playing them. Years later, Victor was still a part of this awesome band. With his serious look, his hairs getting longer with the time and his technique improving with every release. His drums still can be listened in the albums "Sacro", "Muerte verdadera Muerte" and "Total Death". Victor, your work is still in our memory..."

This album is the very first one sung in english and was mixed & mastered by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ex-MORBID ANGEL) and means the return to Europe since their debut album through Osmose Productions back in 1991.
