"Annihilate... Then Ask!" is the first full length album, after their acclaimed debut mini CD "Toxic Mutation" (2015) of this Thrash Metal act leaded by Dave Rotten from AVULSED that aims to preserve the purity of the style in its more aggressive form without sacrificing catchy riffs and musical skills. Spanish thrashers HOLYCIDE have revealed a new song from their upcoming album "Annihilate... This new song "Deserve to be Erased" is another slab of intense yet catchy and dynamic Thrash Metal, showing that there's still room for fresh ideas in this genre without sacrificing its true essence and not sounding like mere copycats.

Spanish thrashers HOLYCIDE, featuring Dave Rotten from AVULSED on vocals (but on a total Thrasher register here), have just revealed the cover artwork for what's going to be their first full length album that will be entitled "Annihilate... Then Ask!" whose recording phase has been finished and they're now in the mixing process. Release for the album is scheduled for January 2017 through Xtreem Music.
Cover artwork for "Annihilate… Then Ask!” has been made by renowned artist Andrei Bouzikov (MUNICIPAL WASTE, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, SKELETONWITCH…) and for what you can see, it's a total Thrasher cover!!
The album will contain nine brand new songs as well as a cover version of legendary US Thrashers DÉTENTE and this is what the band said about the album: "We were in doubt between an abstract, transcendental, modern and post-whatever artwork to demonstrate we're so fucking mature, but in the end our natural born stupidity and lack of originality prevailed and since we're a Thrash band without modern bullshit, we decided to go for a cover that's total fucking 80's Thrasher as hell!! Regarding the music, we can assure it's way superior than our previous EP, a fucking killer album!".
By the end of this month of September, HOLYCIDE will launch a pre-order campaign through crowdfunding to help funding their studio and artwork costs. Spanish Thrashers HOLYCIDE, leaded by Dave Rotten from AVULSED on vocals, have just launched their brand new video-clip from the song "No Escape" which is the opening track of their debut EP "Toxic Mutilation" released in February 2015 through Xtreem Music. The video was directed by Mikel Larequi who already worked on a video-clip for Dani Fernández (HOLYCIDE bass player) previous band CLOCKWORK.

The recording and mixing process of "Toxic Mutation" took around 5 months, being recorded in different studios and mixed and mastered by Raúl Fournier "Furni" at his own Overhead Studios, achieving a truly great production!! The EP contains 5 own songs plus a cover version of DARK ANGEL's "Merciless Death", showing such a fresh, aggressive, dynamic, intense and catchy Thrash Metal like most probably you haven't heard for a long time!! Spanish new Thrash Metal sensation HOLYCIDE, leaded by Dave Rotten from AVULSED are currently in studio finishing the mixes of their upcoming debut EP at Overhead Studios with Raúl Fournier "Furni" (ex-AVULSED drummer) as producer.
HOLYCIDE's inception happened back in 2004 and went through various line-up tryouts and a couple of songs were recorded, but nothing serious until in spring 2012 Miguel Bárez (guitar) and in summer 2013 Dani Fernández (bass), joined the band and thus recorded a 2-song demo by the end of 2013. After this, in spring 2014, two more members completed the band: Salva Esteban (guitar) & Jorge Utrera (drums). With this line-up, the band started to record 5 songs and a cover version of DARK ANGEL in summer of the same year.
The aim of HOLYCIDE is to create some intense and aggressive yet varied and catchy Thrash Metal, focusing in 80's style of bands like DARK ANGEL, INFERNAL MAJESTY, ATROPHY, CORONER, SACRIFICE, SEPULTURA (beneath)…
The EP will be entitled "Toxic Mutation" and the cover artwork has been created by famous artist Mark Riddick. This recording will show a huge improvement from their debut demo and as soon as it's finished, we'll show you an exclusive advance track as well as the cover artwork, full tracklist and definitive release date that might be around January/ February 2015 through Xtreem Music. After this, HOLYCIDE will start offering their very first live shows around their local clubs in Madrid.
