The wait is over... and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of one Holland's most brutal releases in the Death Metal camp of early 90's, XTREEM MUSIC is tremendously proud to announce the re-issue of DISSECT's only album "Swallow Swouming Mass" together with the band's 4 demos in a killer double CD set, followed by two separate vinyl releases later on, including the album in one and demos in another.
Emerged in 1990, DISSECT recorded three demos in '91 & '92 before recording their classic "Swallow Swouming Mass" album for Cyber Music and years later, in '97, the band recorded a 4th demo in a totally different style, more into Technical Death/Thrash after which, they disbanded.
With a fucking heavy, crushing and pounding Death Metal style blending influences from some very early and heavier version of GOREFEST, GRAVE, FUNEBRE and even ROTTREVORE, dutch DISSECT managed to create hell of a killer album that gets a new chance in 2013, just when the band decided to reform with all its original members to offer new shows and who knows what else.
The re-issue of "Swallow Swouming Mass" is expected to come out in February 1st, and as said, will come out on a complete double CD set containing an extensive 16-pages booklet full of band pictures, liner notes, lyrics, demo covers, flyers… and remastered sound for all recordings.
