As announced one year ago during the AVULSED crowdfunding campaign for their 25th anniversary double album "Deathgeneration", the band recorded the entire special show in Madrid last 19th of November with 6 cameras for its release on a triple-disc release consisting on audio 2-CD and DVD under the title of "Night of the Living Deathgenerations".
This release contains the 2-hour show with all songs from "Deathgeneration" plus one more that wasn't played for at least 20 years. This live recording perfectly captures the unparalleled intensity of AVULSED on stage in front of a packed club with totally crazy crowd, making of this show, the most perfect celebration of the band's 25th years of pure devotion to Death Metal.
"Night of the Living Deathgenerations" will be released on a wonderful 8-pannel digipack containing the 3 discs plus a 16 pages booklet with over 150 professional photos taken by Unai Endemaño & Raquel García. Cover artwork was made by Juanjo Castellano, displaying all main characters of every AVULSED album covers in just one, with the genius style of Juanjo.
Although release date for this is set for 17th of April, it'll be already available on all AVULSED show during the band's upcoming European tour between 7-15th of April along with MERCYLESS & SAVAGE ANNIHILATION through the following dates:

The pharaonic project where AVULSED got engaged called "Deathgeneration" is done and ready to be unleashed!! It's been many months in the works from the recordings, mixing & mastering, through crowdfunding (with 150% success and over 430 contributors) and then the design & manufacturing of the multiple formats and items of the album and its fantastic mega boxset.
"Deathgeneration" is a double album with 18 songs (75 min.) made of re-recorded songs spanning the band's career to commemorate AVULSED's 25th anniversary and each song (except one that Dave Rotten reserved for himself) features one killer and legendary vocalists, with a total of 16, who kindly contributed to make this release an anticipated classic!!
AVULSED is going to do three special 25th anniversary shows in Madrid (19.11), Barcelona (26.11) & Sevilla (03.12) where they'll record both sound & video for an upcoming 2-CD+DVD live album to be released in spring 2017 as part of the commemoration of their 25th anniversary.

With only 10 days left on AVULSED's pre-order campaign through crowdfunding, the band has decided to reveal the astonishing album cover for their upcoming 25th anniversary double album "Deathgeneration".
Artwork for "Deathgeneration" was made by russian artist Daemorph Evilartdominion, also bass player in the Death Metal band GROND.
AVULSED is currently embarked in a crowdfunding campaign to achieve, with the help of their fans, an extremely ambitious project to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of AVULSED, the band decided to commit a very ambitious project which is no other than recording a double album including 18 of their best songs from all their albums, EP's and demos. Instead of just doing a dull compilation with original songs, the band wants to do a "no fillers, just killers" release showing the evolution that the songs have suffered during all these years where the band's sound has been getting heavier and songs have got slight mutations through the times.
This double album (80 min.) will be released in a deluxe double CD digipack with slipcase and a thick 40 pages booklet containing the original versions on disc #2 (just for the freaks who hate re-recordings), double gatefold 12"LP and double Cassette with slipcase!! But to make this release even more interesting, AVULSED will have very special guests from other bands singing in most of the songs!! They are: Peter (VADER), Barney (NAPALM DEATH), Tomas Lindberg (AT THE GATES), Sven (ABORTED), Antti Boman (DEMILICH), Chris Reifert (AUTOPSY), Per Böder (GOD MACABRE), Anton Reisenegger (PENTAGRAM CHILE), Kam Lee (ex-MASSACRE), Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER), Mike Van Mastrigt (ex-SINISTER), Ville Koskela (PURTENANCE), Will Rahmer (MORTICIAN), Ludo (SUPURATION), Johan Jansson (INTERMENT) & last but not least, Paul Zavaleta (DETERIOROT). Title for this album will be "Deathgeneration", since 25 years means a whole generation devoted to Death Metal, and cover artwork will be made, once again, by the awesome Juanjo Castellano who worked on the two latest AVULSED cover arts. Expect another masterpiece!! Release date for this take place next autumn, right before the two very special 25th anniversary shows that AVULSED will offer in Madrid (Nov. 19th) & Barcelona (Nov. 26th). Support bands for the show in Madrid will be another Spanish Death Metal legend APOSENTO and newcomers BIZARRE who will also open on the Barcelona show accompanied by another band which is confirmed, but we can't announce yet!! An official live CD+DVD will be recorded & filmed in Madrid!!
"Deathgeneration" will come on a very limited black boxset with silver foiled logo, of which only 100 copies will be made containing the 2-CD, 2-LP & 2-MC. This special cassette release can only be obtained on this boxset that will come with T-shirt, poster, signed photo card, sticker, patch, badge, guitar pick and other goodies. The 2-CD, 2-LP & T-shirt can be obtained separately or in bundles too. For this ambitious (and expensive) project, AVULSED will need the inestimable collaboration of its fans for which the band will release a Crowfunding campaign during the next months.
Recording sessions for "Deathgeneration" will start tomorrow 24th of March with drums being recorded at Cadillac Blood Studios with Andy C. (LORD OF BLACK/ SARATOGA/ KAOTHIC) on production and rest of stuff being recorded at La Casa del Ruido Studios with Daniel Blanco engineering for a later mixing at Overhead Studios by Raul Fournier "Furni" and final mastering again at Unisound Studios by Swedish mastermind Dan Swanö. All this process, including each guest vocalists' contributions, will be a hard process (just imagine, it's a double album!), that will take the next three months for which the band has slowed down its live activities.
Regarding shows, except for only 2 shows scheduled in Spain in April 8th (Burgos) & 9th (Oviedo), AVULSED will re-start in June with a tour in China, followed by a series of great festivals during summer in Germany (Protzen Open Air), Czech Republic (Obscene Extreme & Czech Deathfest) and two of Spain's biggest festivals (Leyendas & Resurrection) as well as a tour in South America during September!!

Spanish Death Metal masters AVULSED have revealed a new song from their upcoming EP in form of an official video-lyric of the track "Red Viscera Serology" that will be included in the "Altar of Disembowelment" 5-song EP.
The CD version will be released through Xtreem Music, while the vinyl version as a gatefold 10", will be done by greek label Screaming Victims Records. AVULSED is going to embark on their 5th European tour right after this release, together with italians NATRON & argentinians PRION.
Two years after the recording of their acclaimed album "Ritual Zombi", spanish Death Metal legends AVULSED returns with a new recording in form of a 5-song EP entitled "Altar of Disembowelment" that marks the band's recording debut for new drummer Erik Raya.
Stylistically, "Altar of Disembowelment" continues the unmistakeable sound of AVULSED, forged during almost 25 years, but this time, the 4 new songs sounds a bit heavier and darker than ever before, with their traditional essence firmly rooted in the old finnish & swedish schools with a Bolthrowerish spice and the fucking low vocal register that forever remains intact in AVULSED.
The EP was recorded in three diferent studios and mixed at Overhead Studios by Raúl Fournier "Furni", ex-drummer of AVULSED between 1994-2004 for a later mastering at Unisound Studios by Dan Swanö.
Besides the 4 new songs, there's a cover version of BLACK SABBATH's "Neon Knight" that was initially recorded in late 2010 for a tribute album to DIO that ended up being a fiasco and instead of using that recording, the band decided to re-record it again for this EP.
Cover artwork for "Altar of Disembowelment" was again work of Juanjo Castellano who was also responsible behind the masterpiece cover art of "Ritual Zombi" who surpassed himself once again creating another absolutely astonishing artwork.

Spanish Death Metal veterans AVULSED are entering the studio this friday to begin recording process of 4 new songs for an upcoming new EP due to come out next September right before embarking on their 5th European tour (3rd one as headliners).
Title for this new EP will be "Altar of Disembowelment" and it's going to include 4 new songs plus a cover song of BLACK SABBATH's "Neon Knights" recorded in December 2010 for a spanish tribute to B.S. that never happened, so the band decided to use it on this release. Recording and mixing will be handled by Furni (ex-AVULSED drummer) at his own Overhead Studios to be mastered later on by Dan Swanö and Unisound Studios.
The 4 new songs are following a heavier direction than the previous stuff still with the unmistakable Death Metal style of AVULSED and will mean the recording debut with the band for drummer Erik Raya. Cover artwork will be once again handled by the genius Juanjo Castellano.

Release date for "Altar of Disembowelment" is secheduled for 9th of September on CD format through Xtreem Music while a vinyl version on 10" format should come out through greek label Repulsive Echo Records on a still undetermined date. Before that, Xtreem Music will also be doing a re-issue of the classic band's 2nd album from '99 "Stabwound Orgasm" both on CD, 12"LP & T-Shirt formats.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of AVULSED's debut EP "Carnivoracity", Xtreem Music will re-issue this already legendary recording both on CD and 12"LP as well as limited run of T-shirts.
Originally recorded in december 1993, the three studio songs (17 min.) were first released as a 7"EP in June 1994 by german label M.M.I. Records, making of this, the very first release of a Spanish extreme Metal band by a foreign label and quickly becoming a collectable item. One year later, in 1995, this EP was re-issued on CD format by Repulse Records including 9 live bonus tracks from a memorable show of the band containing rare tracks, demo songs and a couple of covers of DEMIGOD & BRUJERIA.
This "Carnivoracity" release has become some sort of a cult recording through the years showing the early days of AVULSED, that has kept this pure and genuine brand of Death Metal until today, an spirit and essence that makes this band one of the most authentic and respected european Death Metal forces, always keeping themselves away from commercial records labels.
The CD version contains the same original songs (more than 50 min.) with enhanced sound, specially making the live tracks much better sounding and with a revamped design including liner notes. Same goes for the vinyl 12"LP version, which is being pressed on a limited edition of 400 copies in black wax and 100 copies in red wax with black splatter, only available through the Xtreem Music mailorder.

The album will contain 9 new songs plus a cover song of DEATH's "Zombie Ritual" as a tribute to the band that started it all for the real Death Metal sound (with permission from POSSESSED, of course!!). There will be also three instrumental songs (intro, interlude & outro) and this will be the first recording featuring new drummer Osckar Bravo.
Recording & production will take place in Madrid at La Casa del Ruido Studios by Dani Blanco & AVULSED during February/ March and later will be mixed in Barcelona at Moontower Studios by Javi Félez. Then it'll be finally mastered in Sweden at Unisound Studios by mastermind Dan Swanö. "Ritual Zombi" promises to be the strongest album of the band, gathering all elements that made AVULSED's style over two decades, a respected force with thousands of diehard fans around the world, which for sure won't be disappointed with this new work, that will be another step in the band's fight to keep the true spirit of Death Metal, free of clichés, labels & trends, staying loyal to what the band has been playing since day one back in 1991, which is: DEATH METAL (in bold letters!!).
The band will be capturing on video all the recording process and will be posting clips every week at the band's official Facebook, so make sure you follow AVULSED OFFICIAL at Facebook to be updated about it.
The release of "Ritual Zombi" is scheduled for June 2013 and until then, AVULSED will keep playing very few and selected festivals, after which, they'll start to present the new album, with a highlight at the release party in Madrid, which will be a special festival called RITUAL ZOMBI FEST. in October 12th together with some legendary and exclusive bands (both European & Spanish) that will be announced in the coming weeks, stay tuned at our Facebook as well!!

We know we have a strong fanbase in Turkey, so we've done all what's in our hand to make these shows happen. Thanx to the essential help of Arda from [www.metaltr.net] who's organizing everything and soon will confirm all bands that will be sharing the stage with us.

AVULSED has been chosen by the readers of ROCK ESTATAL magazine as one of the 100 most outstanding bands in the Spanish Rock & Metal scene. This has a special relevance when noticing that it's the only Death Metal band in such selection, basically being the only extreme Metal band and thus of uncommercial kind.
Each band is featured in such publication (of 200 pages!!) with a brief interview & photo. We have scanned for you the front cover and page where AVULSED is featured for all of you who are interested in reading it (if you can understand spanish, haha!!). Just a few days ago, AVULSED played at what's probably the best Metal festival in Europe: HELLFEST!! We had a fucking great time over there and we're so happy of having the chance of playing there in front of thousands of maniacs!! The show was fantastic and both the audience and us enjoyed every minute of our performance. We are very grateful to the HF organization for treating us so well and having us at their awesome festival and of course specially thankful to all these AVULSED fans, friends and in general to all Death Metal lovers that watched our show. We hope to meet you again at some other european festival in the future!!

After long consideration,
AVULSED has finally decided to officially present
new drummer Osckar Bravo at Hellfest, being this the
best possible opportunity to show all our fans the
capabilities of our new band mate.
There was an initial
chance that Riky (ex-drummer) would play at Hellfest
in case that we didn't have a drummer ready for it,
for which we're very grateful, but since the adaptation
of Osckar has been nothing but excellent, the band
feels ready to face the challenge of having his official
debut at such big event.
In the meantime,
AVULSED has been confirmed to perform as headliners
on the next edition of the REPULSION Fest.
which will take place in Sevilla (Spain) on 29th of
September along with bands like EXTIRPATING THE INFECTED,
NO FATE, PURULENT NECROPSYS and DIGGING YOUR TOMB.

Just one month after the departure of ex-drummer Riky, AVULSED is proud to announce the joining of a new drummer to their ranks.
After testing three excellent drummers, the decision was taken in favour of Osckar (Oscar Bravo) which proved to be not only the best drummer, but also, and very important as well, to have great qualities as a person as well as the necessary dedication for the band, which will undoubtely inject fresh and renewed hopes.
Osckar is one of the best drummers on the Spanish Metal scene which also plays in the legendary Heavy Metal band SOBREDOSIS and also on NIGHTFEAR, as well as recently departed from melodic Death Metallers ATMOSPHERE GREY. Osckar is also endorsed by various prestigious brands like MAPEX drums, ZILDJIAN cymbals, EVANS drumheads, ZILDJIAN sticks and AXIS pedals.
All members in AVULSED feel so happy & proud of having found Osckar to fill the drum spot and he just came to stay as another full-time member, making the band stronger than ever before, and we can't wait to present him live as well as recording the new album towards the end of the year.

To all followers and fans of AVULSED:
We're sorry to communicate you that since last 20th of March, Ricardo Mena (Riky)
is no longer the band's drummer. Due to differences on how to deal with different
internal issues within the band, we've decided, after a reunion, that the best
thing for both parts is not to continue together. No hard feelings, beyond the
sadness that all this means for us all.
Due to this, we must announce the cancellation of the performance on the two upcoming
festivals in April where AVULSED was going to participate: Thrashway Fest (Oviedo)
and Barroselas SWR Fest (Portugal). However, there's a possibility that the last
show with the current line-up with Riky might happen at Hellfest in France.
We just want to thank Riky for his eight years of total devotion and profesionalism
as a musician and his friendship, that we'll keep, of course. And to wish him
the best both on personal and professional on musical matters.
As the band states: "We're extremely proud of the final result. We feel we took the best decision using Javi from Moontower Studios for the mixing cos he knew what we wanted in every moment; his experience was essential. But the work made by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios on the mastering which in fact wasn't a typical mastering, but kind of a second mix, was what definitely gave this new album an incredibly heavy, thick and organic sound. We never sounds so fucking crushing!! This is easily the best AVULSED album, not only productionwise, but also the own songs and the great cover artwork, of course!!".
