THE DESCENT is a Spanish band formed during the last months of 2006. The band recorded an EP (3 tracks) in 2010 getting a great reaction from Metal fans and media.
Their next step was the recording of their debut album “Dimensional Matters” after a long period of time in the studio, the album is finished at Fredman Studios under the supervision of Fredrik Nordström well known due his work with bands such as At The Gates, In Flames, Opeth... ”Dimensional Matters” contains 10 tracks of great Death Metal influenced by bands from the Gothemburg area.
In summer 2012 the band signed a deal with XTREEM MUSIC for the worldwide release of “Dimensional Matters”. A video clip for the track “The Day After” will support this release.
