OMISSION was formed in 2002 by Patillas and Ivan Manzano, both ex-MURO. Miguel came with the songs and Ivan with the logo and the band’s name. The first demo "Day of Your Death Arrives..." was recorded in 2005 with some friends, the drums where programmed by David Ballester (rip), who also recorded all the guitar solos, Dani (ex-XHARATHORN) did some chorus and all the remaining war was recorded by Patillas, being everything mixed by Ivan (Iux Provocationix). At this time Ivan Manzano was no more with OMISSION leaving for SILVER FIST.
Patillas invited to join the band Julito (MURO) on bass, Edu (SABATAN) on drums and Marco (ex-SABATAN, ex-EXTREME UNCTION) on lead guitar. With this line-up the band performed a few gigs all over Spain. The band also took part with some songs on the porno-movie "Agradecidos". The band recorded a 2nd demo in 2007, this time all musicians played their parts except Marco, who only recorded the solos. This new demo "Yells that Destroy", was also mixed by Ivan "Iux" and all chorus were yelled by Antonio Cerezuela (ex-SABATAN). The band played at a few festivals with this line-up and then Edu left the band so a new drummer called Juanjo was recruited. OMISSION appeared in the portuguese compilation "Irmandade Metalica Vol. 1" and in early 2008 a new demo called "V.P.A." was recorded and unleashed for free once again, a new discharge of Satanicspeed Thrash Metal!
The band played all over the country, including Portugal and for the release party of their latest demo they invited germans OLD to record a split 12”LP entitled “An Unholy Thrash Metal Night” with great success, getting a totally full venue. This show had also KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR as opening act to secure a great show!!
By the end of 2008 they were invited by XTREEM MUSIC to take part on the SPAIN KILLS compilation with the song “Blood and Steel”. Already in summer 2009, OMISSION recorded their first full length album “Thrash Metal is Violence” which was released by the end of the same year on a self-financed limited pressing of 500 copies. In February 2010, the band came to an agreement with XTREEM MUSIC for the re-issue (with 2 bonus) of “Thrash Metal is Violence” on a worldwide scale to ensure a better distribution and promotion of such album making sure that the sonic violence of OMISSION will reach the biggest number of maniacs as possible!!
