ITNUVETH is a project/band inspired by Norse mythology, totally influenced by the pioneering Pagan Viking Black Metal bands, such as BATHORY, WINDIR, KAMPFAR, BORKNAGAR, ULVER, MOONSORROW, THYRFING, VINTERSORG, BUTTERFLY TEMPLE, NOKTURNAL MORTUM, ARKONA, SORGSVART, etc, etc.
It was born during the cold winter of 2013, when Völundr (guitars/bass) from SVIPDAGR and Lianne Krossburner (vocals/lyrics) from EDENKAISER decided to begin to shape what could be their first album, "The Way of the Berserker" which shows perfectly the vision this style and of the abovementioned bands.
"The Way of the Berserker" was written between late 2013 and early 2014.The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Dave Rotten's at Sanctuary Studios. The artwork that accompanies such work was created by the great artist Jose Antonio Vives (www.facebook.com/joseantonio.vives.77), who has done work for several bands and to some websites. The album was released through Xtreem Music in October 2014.
